I know some people are saying that is "too white" but honestly I have found my and peeps just fine. Because there aren't that many of us, it's like how we Malaysians act when we bump into each other in a foreign country. 😆 Like we're long lost family or something.
We're used to existing in Western-dominated social media & I guess we don't make a deal out of it.
Besides, I like reading up on white perspectives too.

@ewen as a Malaysian it's totally weird to see someone with my accent in Trek world for some reason. Lol. And I'm glad she's so liked! haha (Frankly I don't like the character very much and wonder what's the big deal lol)

Turned out my cynicism was about right lol. He wasn't paid but wanted to go viral. Belahlah dia lol

My chaise lounge is here and I believe I made the right choice buying this instead of a couch. I can read a book while listening to the birds chirping and enjoying the breeze. I can also watch TV at night. Win-win 😁

Living on top of a hill has its advantages. One of the biggest - the songs of birds that greet you in the morning 😍

Birds sing as the sun rise over several blocks of low rise apartments. On the horizon, skyscrapers get lighted up by the rising sun.

Good news! My neighbor downstairs, whom Kooky visits often, has taken him in. As she is on the ground floor, and has cat-proofed her apartment, Kooky is much safer there. And to be honest, I think he's much happier there too!

Lara (my neighbor) even puts on a lullaby for him to help him sleep.

Seriously, what a life he has!

Not that it stops him from complaining to get out 😆I will still be in his life and will share responsibilities for him. I am so glad that Kooky is happy downstairs, able to look at birds from the cat proofed balcony like it should be!

Kooky longs for the outside. So much so that he makes hell at night, jumping, yowling, pestering me to open the door, any door. Unfortunately I live on a high floor with TWO balconies, and seeing how he perches himself at suicidal angles on the balcony, I had to close all doors which makes both of us miserable 😅

Having spent most of his life as an outside cat, Kooky is not going to transition to being an indoor cat. Tough decisions have to made.

Kooky takes to the leash like a pro. He spent the whole day yesterday yowling to be let out, so I took him out for a walk and a visit to my neighbor downstairs whom he also visits and adores. TBH I feel guilty keeping him inside, because he obviously loves the outdoors and on top of that there's no one at home most of the time.
I wish there was a way to give him his outdoor life and keep him safe as well. 😐

The sunbirds' nest continues to grow. I even saw one sitting inside, like it is testing it! Amazing how their brains came equipped with blueprints for this architectural wonder made out of feathers, twigs and ...rafia strings.

I like that the vets think that my guest/foster cat's name is Cookie, when I've actually named him Kooky (full name Kooky Cutter), because that feline is topsy turvy, I tell you!

Kooky enjoying the view. Yes I have named the rescue and you know this is the start of the slippery slope.

We have gone to the vet btw. He has a mild cold, and vet estimates that he's about 8 years old. Kooky was absolutely not pleased about the whole thing.

I day dream of the day when USJ Taipan and SS15 will be closed off to cars, and the roads will be turned to gardens where people can sit outside, sip coffee and watch buskers.
