As it is the greatest tv show ever made, we all have our favorite Futurama moments, but the one that may resonate most with me is when the Robot Devil says "This opera is as lousy as it is brilliant" because it reminds me of some of my favorite people's social medium jokes.

@RufusJCooter @GrimmReality I didn't disagree! Those two (+ Cloris Leachman) made the show. But of course very few child actors actually are great.

But their depiction of flawed parents resetting a flawed family but redeemed by love spoke to my wife and me when we were the same.

Yes, a bug dying in Jr.'s brain is a sexy headline, but to me the bigger story is that he also had severe memory problems due to MERCURY POISONING – 10x the maximum acceptable level – from massively overconsuming tuna and perch –

He tells Trump he's about to issue his ruling, in which he will again find Trump in contempt of court.

The last thing I want to do is put you in jail, Justice Merchan says to Trump. You are the former President of the United States and possibly the next President as well.

But "going forward," he continues, "this court will have to consider jail sanctions" if necessary.

Erp. This whole concept is scary but arguably unavoidable; the last sentence, however, is terrifyingly naive for someone whose most important job qualification is to be "not naive":

@ShiitakeToast Maybe, but I do believe true computer control is the future of military aviation, at least if dogfighting remains relevant. The big F/A jets go faster and carry bigger payloads than current drones; can respond more quickly than human nervous systems can process; can perform maneuvers that would make human pilots pass out even with g-suits; and can even operate in high-radiation environments. No version of "Top Gun" will persuade military planners to retain human pilots.

I don't like it, but I believe it.
