    @RememberUsAlways I think crypto has value if people want to use it, especially where the local economy is broken. I have seen it empower people. Just dismissing it out of hand seems short-sighted.

    @bazcurtis I was pretty much breaking even for the month, including covering the gas, but this weather will set it back a bit. Still saving money though.

    Had our first full month of export. The electricity bill could be negative. Most of the import is charging the car on cheap rate.

    @bazcurtis We're on a fixed rate, but can pay off the standing charge fairly quickly on a sunny day. As we get into summer it should really ramp up.

    When you had one or two streaming services that brought you most of the movies you wanted to watch, at sub $10/month, things looked fine. Now you need to subscribe to 10+ services to do that. So essentially we're back to where we started, but worse. Streaming has become Cable TV over IP with 600+ channels, but no-one offering them all in one convenient subscription. Progress?

    Because I recently posted Wildeboer’s third theorem. Here’s the second. Being “against” something is satisfying but a cheap cop-out. Being “against” doesn’t solve anything at all. It does not offer a way forward. It doesn’t do anything. Building solutions that solve the real question comes with the risk of being wrong or misunderstood. But many that are “against” see any proposal of a solution as an attack. Don’t define yourself by problems. Define yourself on solutions. Even if they fail.
