    I've noticed that the usefulness of a web page is inversely proportional to the number of ads on it. This means that a good heuristic to rank pages for a search engine is the number of ads: the more the ads the lower the ranking and vice versa

    I’ve been out of job since June with very low self income (I don't qualify for public unemployment income) and the project I was due to start in February will probably be delayed until April-May.

    I'm a Staff / Principal Engineer who likes to work with nice people on R&D projects, remotely, preferably async, but at this point I’m open to anything for the next two/three months (hoping for no further delays).

    @twostraws I did it! I succeeded in my December challenge of packing the 100 days of SwiftUI with a score of 85% on the final exam 🎉

    So many things learned in so little time, but the ride only begins now 🥸

    @reginagrogan I have been dead inside for a very long time but tech is everything I have been involved with since I was a child and I don’t see me switching careers because deep down this is what I love to do : writing nonsense on a keyboard to build things out of nothing and making them work… somehow 🤓
