@ai6yr How amazing! I’m every bit the amateur gardener, but just love the inherent weirdness of plants. We had neighbors who’d brought a tiny banana plant back from Hawaii, popped it into their front yard, and over some years, it grew to about 20’ high! 🤗

Joe Biden won all of the debates he had with Trump in 2020 but somehow media people are pretending Trump is good at debating.

In reality, Trump is a crybaby narcissist who spirals into childish rage at the slightest confrontation.

He cowered from multiple debates in 2016 because he couldn't respond to tough questions. He was terrified of debating his Republican challengers in 2024. He also choked against Hillary Clinton in 2016.

Y'all I just made myself feel so old, hubs looked up top 100 music from 2001, 2011, 2021, and today and the amount of music I could recognize decreased by significantly. I recognized probably 70% of 2001 and decreasing as I went on. BUT I blame the internet, I can listen to exactly the kind of music I want with no dependence on the radio, but also I'm old!

@RickiTarr I was actually just thrilled to learn that a band I like, Fontaines DC, is on the list of most favored acts to see at the UK music festivals this summer. They’re currently gigging, youngish, and apparently hot. Definitely would recommend tuning in to bbc radio 6 (bbc sounds app) - plenty of US & UK bands, new & old music.

Some jackhole in the bar played that Kid Rock/Sheryl Crow duet song on the jukebox and Sheryl Crow seems to be a fairly decent person so it probably has to suck that you are now emblazoned digitally through all time singing dulcet poetry to a greasy kitchen mop in a hat who went on to become one of America's most strident publicly-declared neo-Nazis.

Seeking eggplant recipe ideas, as I have one limp eggplant in the fridge and 8 eggplants growing in hydroponics (which may produce a massive amount of eggplant).

So far my repertoire includes 2 dishes:

  1. Eggplant Parmesan (Italian)
  2. Eggplant in Garlic Sauce (Chinese)

(the family hates eggplant, except me, so we never eat it 🤔 )
