Found another solution beyond images to create long-form, more academic style posts while keeping my account.
A #link aggregator using the #activitypub protocol; with a terrible name and limited features but no character limit + #fediverse
May not work my long-form posts b/c I can't disable comments to force discussion on #mastodon
This is mainly a #test will be looking for another a working temporary solution until I build something
