Well, while I wait for my favorite Fallout 76 mods to update after the newest patch, I'm re-downloading ESO to see if I can successfully "get back into it".
I have this stimulation issue called ADHD which makes it hard to do the long, drawn out quests with lots of dialogue. The issue is, that's the best parts of ESO....😩I wish I could shut off the quest voices and just read the text. It'd be faster for me.
I did find an addon that claimed to do that, but it muted all dialogue across the game, which is not what I want.
PS. I hate the fact that modders add so much functionality to games with missing features like text chat. How do you have a PC-based multiplayer online game without text chat in 2024? If it was integrated into the game like it's supposed to be, I wouldn't need to wait for modders🤦♂️
@BeAware Omg same 😂. I downloaded F76 last night and was so excited about playing. It booted up and I walked around for about 4 minutes before getting distracted by my phone. Next thing I knew, my PS5 went into Rest Mode 😅
@sandwich haha, to be clear, with the "ADHD" Statement, I'm talking about ESO. I guess the same could be said about F76 but I enjoy the multiplayer events way more than the story in that game so I plowed through the story so I could get to the "multiplayer MMO" style grind.🤣
If you ever have the funds for a PC that could run FO76, you should definitely play it on there. There's mods that dramatically enhance your experience like global text chat so you can have friends across servers and such, it's really cool.
@BeAware Odd note: cannabis helps a TON with my attention span though. My doctor recommended it for ADD, and he was NOT wrong. It’s so strange how is just slows down the thoughts and allows me to focus.
@sandwich and that's why doctor recommendations aren't a "one size fits all"....That is definitely the opposite for me. When I smoke, my mind wanders lmao. :veriweed:
