My sister and I, who agree on little, have arrived at a consensus that macaroni and cheese is overrated and pretty meh. Sorry to those this might affect.

@MHowell I get that and accept all consequences, though I will also stipulate that this consensus was arrived at upon our meeting in the Dells, where more than one place advertised to us as mac-n-cheese specialty restaurants, which LED us to this point of agreement, and with the further stipulation that, in the ten years prior, I politicized her, an apolitical person, to help end the Koch-bankrolled regime in Wisconsin.

I won't claim that mac and cheese is the best food in the world, but if you are craving Mom Food with a week's worth of calories that will sit like a comforting weight in your stomach, it will do nicely...unless there's gluey American cheez involved, then it's just greasy noodles in Elmer's. Lasagna will always be the superior option.
