@LibrarianRA I actually remember when Vanna White first started. As a kid, I would occasionally watch Wheel (nothing better on?), and I had a crush on the original hostess. But she left the show to start a family. So they had tryouts for a week or two with a different woman on every day. Chaos ensued. If you think about it, it takes practice to walk up to the board and quickly turn around the correct letters. I didn't like Vanna at first. I missed my crush.
