Season three needs to be thirteen episodes. Season two felt like it ran through plot points at rocket speed without letting the story develop or unfold at a natural pace.
Agreed, the latter half especially felt like most of the storylines should have extended into another season. It seemed very clear in the last episode that they weren't sure they were getting renewed, and wanted to wrap things up nicely, just in case.
