TheOctonaut,

Using a (half?) different “good thing, bad thing” meme template doesn’t make this a new meme

ChillDude69,

As I said to your mother last night, I wasn’t trying to do anything new. I was just trying to have a good time.

TheOctonaut,

And like she told you, if you’re the only one having fun you don’t actually need to involve anyone else

ChillDude69,

Touché.

We need to get the cast back together to refilm that episode.

In the new version Thomas Riker shows up out of no where and shows them how to keep Tuvix and get Tuvok and (maybe) Neelix back too.

ChillDude69,
Evil_Shrubbery,

Amazing, I need to get to a bar & try to find my soulmate this way.

Fuck Tuvix. Dude was constantly showing off and he was kind of a kissass.

almar_quigley,

Thank you, I never understand the Tuvix stans. Neelix was annoying but I wouldn’t trade anything for Tuvok.

jmcs,

Basic rights aren’t contingent on not being annoying.

Do orchids have rights? Tuvix was, technically, a plant.

Evil_Shrubbery,

Basically a walking salad that Janeway refused to toss.

Telodzrum,

Well yeah, he wasn’t holodeck Irish.

almar_quigley,

And what about Tuvok’s rights?

jmcs,

Tuvok was dead. You don’t kill someone to revive another person or even two - otherwise transplant waiting lists would be much smaller

almar_quigley,

But he clearly wasn’t. They don’t have the technology to bring an actually dead person back to life. So it should be assumed they were both still alive. From our current perspective of the universe they didn’t exist but I’d extrapolate that out to be a bigger version of object impermanence.

Glytch,

Was he dead though? Or was he fully alive as part of Tuvix’s consciousness? Tuvix had incentive not to tell anyone if he heard the voices of Tuvok and Neelix screaming in agony in his head. We frankly don’t know.

Glytch,

We already know he wasn’t mentally stable, given the mix of Vulcan and Talaxian emotions within him. He could potentially use Tuvok’s emotional control skills, but we’ve seen in other episodes that those don’t necessarily work on non-Vulcans. Tuvix could have gone full crazy and tried to kill everyone, and could do it with Tuvok’s security codes.

What happens when his Vulcan side hits Pon Farr? With Neelix in the mix he might do worse than just kill everyone.
