I’m still undecided on if I should pick up the last 2 #Destiny2 expansions on sale this week or not… or just let the franchise go…
It’s been hard not playing for the last few years and I miss the world - but I don’t miss the drama and monetization around the game. I also don’t raid anymore (accessibility issue) or play much PvP anymore, so I don’t know where my value would be in playing again.
The #Zune came up in a discussion in my #Destiny2 Slack. I got to introduce some friends to the fact that back in the day, Microsoft unironically added a feature called 'Squirting.' #MicrosoftZune#Microsoft
Which of course led to completely serious tech editorial headlines like this.
I’ve taken a long break from the world of #Destiny2 but I’m considering coming back and catching up to see it through the ending of the ‘Light vs Dark’ saga.
I met @craftykraken playing the original Vault of Glass back in 2014, so the game holds a special place in my heart.
I’m just dragging my feet on the cost of needing to buy multiple catch up expansions x2 (for each of us).
Would you say it’s worth it? With the current #Steam sale?
Finally caught up with #Destiny2 Season of the Deep story yesterday night and once again their writers showed how good they are. That Witness origin story is top notch and the Savathun ending gave me the cliffhanger I needed.
Plus, the story arc of Sloane and how dangerous it is to making one thing the center of your identity is a great message delivered in a good way.
Really fascinating to hear from people who are disappointed by #Bungie’s new game #Marathon being a multiplayer extraction shooter. I get it, but as someone who never played the #Halo games, it has been such a joy to experience Bungie’s craft through #Destiny2.
Anyway, I for one am looking forward to the new game, though I understand the other perspective.
So I had #ChatGPT and #GoogleBard both write a #Destiny2 ending story for Zavala to compare which #AI could write the best story. ChatGPT with #GPT4 wrote a fairly good story, and Bard tried, but it didn’t write a story based on the prompt. So, I have to give the win to ChatGPT.
There's supposedly a story in #Destiny2 but I choose to ignore it completely. The Witness? Witness me ignoring whoever that is and just shooting the things with the little yellow bars over their heads pew pew
For today's #MusicMonday I'm sharing a gem from the #Destiny2 OST called "Journey", the theme that accompanied the unforgettable opening of Destiny's Red War campaign.
