Leeloo’s pet store trip was a success! Not only for the trip itself where she got some treats and a toy. But it was her first ride in her new seatbelt harness in the back seat instead of all the way in the cargo space!
She was having a blast!
All the excitement wiped her out. She stayed down the whole trip back home.
He was rescued from a bad situation prior to my adoption when he was 6 years old. He was born for racing, but doesn’t appear to have ever raced (tattooed ears).
He wasn’t trusting of people at first and wanted to just be left alone. But he learned to love the good life. He loves walks, but age is slowing him down. Car rides are among his favorite things.
There was a greyhound adoption meet and greet event in the park today. Looked very festive with happy people and dogs.
Lots more greyhounds being walked around the park than usual too, presumably by supporters of Greyhounds As Pets (GAP) organisation that put on the event. Hope lots of greyhounds find their people through this.
Today is my sweet boy’s last day on earth. A retired racer, he came to us at 5 and has had a wonderful 8 years with us. He has been my constant companion since he came into our lives. We had a cancer scare 18 months ago, and he was diagnosed with a degenerative spinal condition 6 months ago. You would think I might have been able to get ready for this emotionally, but I am ill prepared. I know this is for the best, but that does not make it any easier. #greyhounds#greyhoundsofmastodon
I wasn't sure that Tallie our lovely greyhound had got the idea of snuggling but tonight she has been by my side on the sofa for quite a while! #GreyhoundsOfMastodon
Hewwo. It is currently raining and, as you know, this means we are all going to perish. I am hiding in the bathroom as I spend my final moments with my loved ones. Hold your hoomans close, my fellow greyhounds. They don't understand how seriously dangerous the rain is.
