One of #Trump’s new attys proposed an idea…fall of 2022…. atty, Christopher Kise, wanted to quietly approach #Justice to…negotiate a #settlement that would preclude charges, hoping AG #MerrickGarland & the #DOJ would want…to avoid prosecuting a fmr president. Kise would hopefully “take the temperature down,” he told others, by promising a professional approach & the return of all documents.
But Trump was not interested
#Trump's attorneys have got to be high. They have to know there's literally no chance #MerrickGarland is just going to terminate Special Counsel #JackSmith's investigation and potential prosecution of Trump for stealing all those #documents. Smith seems to be nearing a production decision, and Trump is clearly terrified. This request is laughable.
I have a couple of suggestions for you:
👉 Change the name of Truth Social to “Lies Incarcerated,” as a “coming attractions” tease.
👉 Rot, slowly, in prison.
