TikTok CEO #ShouZiChew has said the company will take the fight against the new law to the courts, but some experts believe that for the #US#SupremeCourt, national security considerations could outweigh #FreeSpeech protection.
Young people, in particular, are following the #Israel-#Hamas war on social media, and many are horrified by what they see.
They’ve also grown up with protest movements — #OccupyWallStreet, #BlackLivesMatter, the Parkland, Fla., students’ gun control campaign — as the backdrop of their lives. #VietnamWar
The “great” thing about England is that when these articles come out and you google the person who wrote them it’s not something boring like “their dad is a trust fund manager” it’s “their dad is a baron, their grandfather edited the newspaper this appears in, and their family founded the private Bank of England”
"Young people are refusing to work unpaid overtime like their parents did
We will label them 'lazy' until they agree to work for free again
The young can't afford homes or afford to start families, so our traditional methods of coercive capitalism isn't working like it used to
The #OccupyWallStreet generation never got launched into life with the help of their parents because the orchestration of the 2008 financial crash wiped out a generation's savings"
Do you think it a coincidence that filth reich wing nihilionares and murdercop mayors and the DHS amd FBI work side by side with a certain genocidal theocracy?
Tonight at 7pm ET we're hosting organizer and filmmaker Marisa Holmes in conversation with media studies scholar @ntnsndr! In "Organizing Occupy Wall Street," Holmes analyzes the movement as a core organizer involved from start to finish. She reveals how #OWS organized in practice, which experiments were most successful, and what future generations can learn.
"[M]ovement history at its best: meticulous, direct, and expansive in revolutionary scope. Providing a crucial corrective to all too many reductive Occupy narratives, Holmes emphasizes the movement's context in international struggles and centers it's all-too-overlooked form as a horizontalist, richly lived radical experiment. This is the Occupy we need to remember; these are the practices we must carry forward."

Olaudah Equiano’s book, “The Interesting Narrative of the Life of Olaudah Equiano, Gustavus Vassa, the African. Written by Himself,” stands prominently among autobiographies penned by former slaves in 18th-century Britain. Its comprehensive and detailed recounting, along with supporting documentation from various letters, offers unparalleled insights into Equiano's life, surpassing what we know about any of his peers.

I wish young people would have a serious look at the legacy of #OccupyWallStreet
They will spend a lifetime in debt for one item or another.
Victims of car loans or student loans. Credit cards used to buy food.
Slaves to jobs they hate to pay a landlord's mortgage, or if they're lucky, their own mortgage for a home whose value can vanish in a heartbeat, to flood, hurricane, wildfire, or orchestrated Wall Street crashes.
SPEAKING OF EXISTENTIAL THREATS
as i've said before, Apartheid Clyde is just a front to a cartel of market manipulators that i've decided to call ponzillionaires because the billion dollar valuations are ponzi schemes.
so, seeing Apartheidboi's expected antisemitism & his cartel of investors, i went into a bit of a deep dive of #PewResearch and found 10 demographics #ExistentialThreats to ponzillionaires
BLM got us Trump and the record-breaking profits fueled by the scams, insider trading & pump & dumps of stocks, crypto and, with Trump, USGov that they hand-waved as fake-news
