Another snap of the aquilegia hordes in the meadow area. As you can see, photo-bombed by a bumble bee which seem to love these flowers, which I'm very happy about - this is meant to be a welcoming place for all the bugs and beasties first.

Today was officially warbler day in the garden - 5 species in less than 15 minutes.

Palm, Blackpoll, Orange-crowned, Tennessee and Yellow-rumped.

My friend came back twice yesterday, the first time to hang out and look around, the second time at dusk to enjoy a delicious sparrow(?) up a spruce tree.

A hawk is sitting on the edge of a deck, facing the camera (nearly). It is showing off its stripey breast, yellow-orange talons, and its red irises.
