Watching a (very charming) playthrough of #BG3 on YouTube.
But the woman is sooooooooooooooo cautious. It turns out she has a lot of experience with tabletop #DnD, and quite frankly, even tho she seems to truly enjoy her sessions, her DM is a dick (tho, again, she obviously enjoy the sessions). Mimics and deadly traps everywhere, having to Sense Motive on everything. She was genuinely frustrated that she couldn't use "Sense Motive" in the game at first.
Sometimes I feel bad that I let two thirds of possible companions sit at camp for the entire game (minus their own subquests) and then I remember I would have to not bring my favorites if I let them come.
I'm attempting to play Baldur's Gate 3 and it's really dense. As someone who's never played D&D, I'm very lost and don't really know what I'm doing. I kinda wish there was a setting where the game would automatically handle my level ups for me because there's just so much stuff I don't know what to pick but I'm pretty sure I'm building the characters wrong.
I'll keep trying at it but I might have to drop the game.
Also, the graphics on SteamDeck are really sketchy.

I have accumulated such ridiculous amounts of money in #BG3 I just dropped like 20,000gp on fancy arrows, potions, alchemy ingredients, and spells, because I'm approaching the end.
My inventories are already full to bursting with fancy arrows, potions, alchemy ingredients, and spells, most of which I don't use.
I have barrel upon barrel of gunpowder and fireworks in a trunk.
All I really want are potions of speed, but hyena ears are so rare! I've been buying them up all game!
#BG3 Coincé bêtement dans la morgue de la maison de la guérison, à cause du nuage toxique. Y'a pas de sort de résistance au poison, ou un truc comme ça ? (alors oui, j'ai bien vu les aérations au sol, mais je n'arrive pas à faire les bons jets de dés, ça doit être le poison)
