Have just caught the #catpest drinking out of my glass of water. Sighed, topped up his water bowl, got myself a fresh glass of water.

Turned round and he was drinking from the fresh glass.

Argh.

He's currently sitting halfway up the stairs, thinking about how he can be A Better Cat.

Went to the enormous Exeter Sainsbury's today and got new slippers, fancy cat fud for the #catpest, bin liners and thinly sliced escalopes of beef, with which I am making roulades, after the German fashion. This involves much beating of the beef, cocktail sticks, bacon and sweet and sour gherkins.

Also, wine. #food #cooking

The #catpest made the entirely erroneous assumption that because I was having a smoked sausage and cheese sandwich, he'd be getting sausage and cheese too.

The vet put a drop of dye in Miss Cinnamon’s eye and she went mental, so they said there’s no point trying to give her eye drops again. We’ve got some Metacam anti-inflammatory liquid to give her once a day and if it doesn’t clear up my about Thursday we need to take her back. I’m very relieved we don’t have to give her drops again!

Today I have unpacked, tidied up, put together a cat tree (#catpest unimpressed), run the dishwasher 3x and the washing machine once, folded a pile of underwear, sorted the bins (bin day tomorrow), tidied dry clothes out of the conservatory, cleaned the oven, cleaned the counter tops and changed the sheets and towels.

Not bad considering I had a heavy weekend and I'm WRECKED.
