It was exactly 6 years ago that I joined .art! It quickly became my favourite spot on the internet for how many amazing and inspiring artists I discovered here 💖
For fun, here's the very first image I uploaded here vs. the most recent artwork :artcapy2:
Glastonbury Tor - View of St. Michael's Tower, all that remains of a 14th century church destroyed by Henry VIII during the dissolution of the monasteries.
Seeing as Mother's Day isn't that far away I thought I would create this mixed media piece called "Mother With Sunflowers", it looks beautiful on canvas, coffee mugs, tote bags and much more! Hope you enjoy:)
Watercolor splash painting of a classic vintage Wurlitzer jukebox.
Sadly, I haven't had the pleasure of seeing this classic machine do its magic, but I love the design and the mark it left not only on music but also on interior design.

One pill makes you larger
And one pill makes you small
And the ones that mother gives you
Don't do anything at all
Go ask Alice
When she's ten feet tall

On a long and lonesome highway, east of Omaha
You can listen to the engine moanin' out its one-note song
You can think about the woman, or the girl you knew the night before
Here I am, on a road again
-Bob Seger
The porch - once a prominent part of the home was a place to take a seat, have a glass of cold lemonade on a hot day, read the paper, have a pleasant chat with the neighbor, share a story with friends or family, or daydream. Life as it happened is an homage to the generation of Americans who used to sit on their porch and just enjoy what the day would bring.
