There are few things in the world as green as newly unfurled beech leaves in Spring. This was the scene I found myself immersed in at Dawsholm Park in the West of Glasgow during yesterday's morning dog walk.

To-day, when we were heading to the #DogWalk we went down the ploughed & salted glen road. It was easier to walk there than the deep snow on the verges.

As we were walking down, a large 4x4 tooted at us to get out of the way.

5 mins later, we caught up with the 4x4. It was stuck in the snow on the first uphill section. I offered them my "husky" to pull them up.

Later, we found the 4x4 abandoned at the bottom of the hill.

Laugh? I nearly wet myself laughing.

Dahlia doesn’t understand the concept of sleeping in. She also slept through the neighborhood fireworks no problem. So here we are, 33F/1C at sunrise on going for a walk in a local park.

Life in the forest

Came across this forest welfare unit on to-day's .

Forest harvesters usually stay on-site with their own caravans, so, they don't need welfare units. This WU was used by the quarry workers (quarry within the forest).

The WU had a toilet and a rest room (sitting room). The smaller unit contained water. Both units have heavy duty grab handles for lifting and moving them with timber grabs.

The other short side of the welfare unit which has one door, marked "rest room".
One of the long sides of the WU, indicated as a welfare unit.

Went to the with . We’re working on some major fear issues he has which we blame on his training.

We walked 1/2 mile up the trail. I wanted to make the 1-mile marker but Moses is just too nervous. It forced me to constantly look ahead for dangerous drops on the edge of the trail & asses the risk which triggered my vertigo.

Great workout though. We’re going to do wider, less risky trails for now until he’s more at ease with the because as soon as we cross into slightly more wild areas, his nervousness kicks in.

But practice makes perfect and he’s a great dog who wants to do well. And we both love spending time and going out with each other. .
