I'm trying to buy tickets, for a concert in #Tokyo. But on the website of the group, there is no link to the website of the group, but the venue also doesn't appear to have a website.
So where can I find those tickets ? Is there some third party website like TicketMaster in Japan? And do they accept non-Japanese credit cards ?
I could never bring myself to like GLAY though I know they're a much, much more popular band and I grew out of Laruku too. I'm just really into LUNA SEA's atmospheric vibe that they still retain despite fans complaining not liking their newer output. To them I always say, you're the one who have to grow up to appreciate their new songs!
Finished the second cour of #eightysix the other day, because I was reminded on here that it had a second cour :blobfoxcrylaugh: (Split cours are still the worst.) The ending song "Alchemilla" introduced me to Regal Lily, who I'm liking a lot! I've been listening to them all day :mmikudance2:
This YouTube channel needs some love, y'all. Only 4 videos but oh my this person is crazy talented! And they're covering Kessoku Band and Yorushika so you know I'm all about it :D
LUNA SEA will be holding their DUAL ARENA TOUR 2023 in Japan, where they will play MOTHER and STYLE for 2 nights in each city!
This is a throwback to TOUR 1995 MOTHER OF LOVE, MOTHER OF HATE TOUR and TOUR 1996 UN ENDING STYLE!
October 7-8: K-Arena Yokohama
November 4-5: Marine Messe Fukuoka
December 2-3: Xebio Arena Sendai
December 16-17: Nippon Gaishi Hall Nagoya
December 30-31: Osaka-jō Hall
I generally don't like covers but this one is so well executed, with an orchestra!
ofc I expect nothing less from Hazuki who is the #1 LUNA SEA fanboy. I also appreciate his choice to cover Forever & Ever bc it's not really a "popular" ballad in terms of LS lore, most people would default to I For You or Gravity.
I've been occasionally buying some CDs here and there. Got these two in the mail today! It'll be nice to listen to some Blue Hearts now that I have the actual media.
i'm trying to remember this #jrock band i listened to like 20 years ago. i was never big into jrock but remember this one album. i thought it was by Dir En Grey, but i don't think so anymore; had a track called "Chainsaw" on the album, maybe? band had a similar look to Dir En Grey but less cringe? ugh
#JIdol I'm lazy today and letting the YouTube algorithm have its way today. It has decided I need to listen to a series of 黑黒 shows. I don't mind they are good and obscure enough that they don't surface often.
I did not see a theme for @ThePop's J-Music Friday this week, so I'm just going to drop the fantastic music video from Hanabie for their newest track, OTAKU Lovely Densetsu. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Awx5vfb_aSY
Yes, I know I dropped the song last week, but they now have a music video! I have to share that too!!
