What if you could own a stylus enabled Windows 11 Laptop, that was ALSO a Linux PC, and it was ALSO an Android tablet, and it cost less than an iPad Air (with keyboard), but had twice as much storage as the iPad AND you could upgrade its SSD when you needed more space?

@frameworkcomputer is offering refurbished 11th-gen 13” laptops for under $1,000, with some DIY editions going as low as $599.

And since there’s a clear upgrade path to their latest and greatest, you won’t be wasting your money by purchasing a laptop with older specs.

Hello @tuxedocomputers, @slimbook, @system76/@system76, @purism, @novacustom, @start9labs & any other companies making with preinstalled roaming around on the , I have a seemingly stupid question for all of you:

How come, as far as I know, none of you ever made any , like Acer's Spin series, HP's x360 laptops, a non negligible part of Lenovo's Yoga laptops, or a growing number of Chromebook?

Because I would buy such a Laptop, especially if it used (or a distro of it) as firmware. 😉

I mean, it's not like GNU/Linux didn't have some that would be great with a , like , or to name a few.)

I'm so confused about the market for professional AV editors who want to work on an iPad. If you need to do this stuff on the go why not just get a MBA or the MBP 14”?

@paul propably because #Apple refuses to integrate proper #Pen support in their #Laptops and people have neither the time nor patience to #Hackintosh an outdated #ThinkPad #X230 #Tablet.

Also there are sadly no new #ModBook|s on the market and carrying around another #Wacom tablet on top of a #MacBook is even bulkier than the biggest #iPadPro...

Still looking for my "forever Linux laptop." The one I'll put ALL my stickers on.

At one point I thought it would be the @system76 Oryx Pro but 17-inchers are big and & power hungry.

Then I wanted it to be my Apple M1, but app compatibility (ARM) has me a little concerned.

I need all day battery life, great display, MODEST dedicated GPU or strong integrated GPU.

Should I just do what everyone else has been doing and buy a ? The T-14 looks pretty sweet.
