Pixelfed Live is so fun to use, and I'm working on making it even easier to use end-to-end.
It's one thing to support Live Streaming, but it's a whole other thing to have that baked into an ephemeral feature that is accessible and more popular with the general public than a dedicated video platform or live streaming platform.
I look forward to bringing proper live streaming to the fediverse, via @pixelfed, @loops and @supapp 🚀
This is a serious question, but how do you have the time to do all this work? Are these projects bringing in some revenue to offset the need to take on other work? Are you independently wealthy? Just a sheer amount energy every day?
If you've blogged about this at all, I'd love to read it.
@jeremiah these are just side projects, I have a full time job. I’d like to get funding so I could focus on Pixelfed and other projects full time, just imagine the progress!
Canon recently asked me to present a tutorial about their PTZ range of cameras. It’s now live on their YouTube channel. 📺
If you’re interested in #VideoProduction and #LiveStreaming, and you want to know more about these cameras, give it a watch. PTZs are very much the future (but also the present) of professional video!
Today I'm back in the city of Los Santos playing GTA Online. I'll be nefariously grinding for in game loot and trying desperately to avoid oncoming traffic.
If you're trying to watch and things look choppy or you are having issues watching, please let me know. I seem to be having some issues on my side and I'm not sure if viewers are having issues watching.
For those who use OBS to broadcast there's something I learned a year ago that I don't think people take advantage of.
Nested scenes.
Instead of adding a video capture device to a scene and then trying to make it look the same from scene to scene, you can create a scene with your VCD chosen, create the style you want it to look like, and then use that scene in all of the scenes where you want your camera.
