I'm taking a look at #Calckey. I like what I see however there is no mobile app that yet supports it such as #Mona fully to my noledge. Also my windows client probably does not as well. This looks like a promising platform though for bloggers and probably podcasters as well. I'm not sure if this account should be on the platform. I'm just someone who rambles personally.
@MonaApp Do you have any plans to support #Kbin and #Lemmy accounts in a future release? Would really love to see a mature app such as #Mona take this on.

I’m using a shortcut to change my #MonaAppTheme when I open the app (shortcut circulated here a while ago). Worked great until recently, now I get a time out error for the #Mona get theme actions. I have quite a few #MonaTheme s installed, anybody encountered an upper limit yet? This is happening on iPad, haven’t tested iPhone or Mac yet. @MonaApp@chamona#MonaApp

I’m interested in thoughts on the #Ivory & #Mona apps from fellow Mastodonians.
Been using Ivory for a while but it’s still missing key features & the updates aren’t coming as fast as I’d hoped. No disrespect intended toward the dev team. The app is very good & will become great in time.
Now I’m using Mona. This seems to be the first Mastodon app I’ve used with a ton of great features 𝘢𝘯𝘥 a great user experience.

Looking for a Mastodon client primarily for iOS, great to see the main app is open-source, but there seems to be quite a few options out there. Feel free to share non-iOS clients for others' benefit as well....
My favorite has to be #Mona for iOs. I hope it can one day work with KBin as the app is that good, and the developer cares about inclusivity and accessibility for everyone.
So it sure looks like #Reddit is going to eat itself in the next week or so. The recent AMA from the CEO pretty much shows they are going the Twitter route. Trying to monetize a platform in a way that's going to drive the users away from it.
I had hoped that #Mastodon would be the thing that could replace both Reddit and Twitter, but without a federated #groups model, or proper #threading, or similar tools, it's not going to work.

Mona Tip, You can now customize your notification sounds for Mona. And you can even assign a different sound for each type of notification. For example, you can have one sound for favorites, and another sound for mentions. What a great update! To check it out, in settings in the Mona app, go to Push Notifications, tap on your user name, then go to the end and tap on customize. On this screen, is a list of the different types of notifications. Just tap on each one that you want to assign a sound for, and on that screen you will see a button to assign a sound. Once done, just do not forget to hit the done button, then the save button to complete the process. #Mona#Tip#Notifications#Sounds#Accessibility#Blind
for anyone still having trouble iinding the new notification sounds in #Mona the sequence is as follows: your mastodon name, then settings, then push notifications, your name again, and customize. don't forget to tap done, and save once you finish configuring them.
Omg I love love the Mona App!!! Its really good. A new update dropped for it just today in fact, and you have the ability to choose notification sounds. If you need a good Mastodon app for IOS, look no further than #Mona.
@dansup If you do for both Android/IOS, please please please add action rotors for it so that people using screen readers can easily get around it without needing so many button clutter.
Great app examples are #Tusky for Android and #Mona for IOS.

I think there needs to be a more autonomous fediverse client that can integrate multiple accounts to restore a seamless unified experience in spite of defederations. Most apps let you switch accounts but it needs to merge their timelines and let you choose which one to reply and interact from. It would be great if @MonaApp could do this. Already, when pressing follow it prompts which account to follow with—this functionality seems like it ought to be consistent with other interactions; I think a touch and hold on the reply/favorite/boost/bookmark/etc buttons should open that prompt. With an aggregated home timeline that's pretty much it I guess! Just wanted to congratulate you for a fantastic job with your Calckey server!
I do have my Calckey account connected with the #Mona client, but it currently gives a ‘500 internal server error.’ Yes, I know that not all of Calckey stuff will work with Mona, but its cool that it logged in at all.
Also, me is wondering where I can find a list of Keyboard shortcuts for Calckey. I found most of the obvious ones…

@ivory@MonaApp Also nach einem Tag, vermisse ich #Ivory nicht. Nur die #Benachrichtigungen finde ich Bei Ivory weitaus besser. Da steht alles für sich, jede Benachrichtigung einzeln. Und nicht zusammengefasst wie bei #Mona. Die Übersicht ist dort besser meiner Meinung nach.
