You never think it will happen to you, but sometimes it does. Late last year, after years of symptoms and many medical tests, my husband Dave was diagnosed with early-onset Alzheimer's.

This is why were are going to Walk to Make Alzheimer’s a Memory — to raise awareness and funds for Alzheimer’s .

They support local families who need services now as well as research for better treatments and a cure.

The supply chain estimates Apple sold an absolute minimum of 60,000 Vision Pro units on opening weekend.

Even if every single unit was the lowest cost model (it wasn't) and they didn't sell any accessories (they did), that's:

60,000 x $3500 = $210M

Not too shabby an opening weekend. And is just getting started.

Doomed.

Our next-door neighbors (who are lovely people) have put out a display that is my nightmare. Huge and webs over all the trees and bushes. I don't mind the little cemetery in the front yard, but seriously, the spiders are giving me the creeps. 🕷️ 🕸️

Trying to decide if I need to downgrade my Hulu+/Disney bundle after the notification of the 25% price increase. Especially when it seems like there is not much to watch. Seems too pricy when I barely watch them right now.

A good reminder for those of us with friends in this cult: “Like the other cult experts I spoke with, Young doesn’t believe that anybody can be argued out of Trumpism (or any other firmly held belief). People can save only themselves, as she did. But she argues that such self-rescues are happening all around us.”

My husband and I have read books about for many years. So we decided to see how much tickets were to see the movie next weekend. We were shocked to see that the local theater wanted $20 per seat (reserved seating on Sunday). The experience is so much better at home (without the crowds and chatty people), so we will wait for streaming.
