The good thing about growing up in a backwater was that I never knew that STP were maligned as “inauthentic”. So, I never had to pretend that this album isn’t fucking great.
If memory serves, I bought this from a mail-order catalog along with Pearl Jam’s Ten and Nirvana’s Nevermind. They were the first CDs I ever bought.
(Excluding Megadeth’s SFSGSW, which I got in a bargain bin and sold soon afterwards)

Now my choice is a song that is literally called "Long Slow Goodbye" and the song itself does have a long outro which perfectly closes the album "Lullabies To Paralyze".
