Vomiting, cramping, and...

Many of the designs appear in multiples & those in higher foot traffic areas have noticeably more wear, as seen in this pair.
From the ongoing search for all the from the 420 original 1906 Moravian tile by Henry Chapman Mercer on the Capitol floor.

I'm an artist and writer in Seattle, with a love of nature and of making art with traditional tools. I have a certificate in Natural Science Illustration from the University of Washington, and paint native flora and fauna of the Pacific Northwest onto oyster shells; the shells are sold in the shop at the Seattle Art Museum. For my writing, I'm represented by The Tobias Literary Agency.

I've been working for years to improve my artistic skills enough to illustrate a comic mystery I wrote for the 8-12 yr old audience. The more I learn, the more I understand that I still need to learn. Which makes me joyful: I'll never run out of things to discover and ways to improve.

I love seeing what other artists and creators are doing, and hearing about their struggles and successes. I also love historical artifacts, gardens (of the landscaped variety, not vegetable), psychology, and all things wild and natural.
