#PennedPossiblities 205 Do any of your characters have an accent? (This all depends on where they’re from and where they currently are, of course.)
As most of my characters are otherworldly in nature...I imagine that they would sound as if they had an accent. Due to having different methods aside from mouths to communicate verbally.
Of the human characters, they tend to have a lack of accent in my head. They all do have unique colloquial phrases, at least!
The unnamed secondary character from Inklings frequently forgets he's an exchange student in a foreign land. He's lived here for over a year and has gotten used to it. He has had a number of girlfriends, with benefits, were back home that was something unsafe to do. (Unsettled succession that could end up bloody, and did.) Women have more rules here, as does society, but are also more liberal and confusing about getting around them... again, with rules. Women find him exotic and attractive, but his intermittently falling back to his easy-going tropical island ways causes him to have few actual friendships.
When he makes a behavioral mistake with the MC of the story, it nearly gets him torn to bits.
For Wetryxstray: Eliminate or Capture Jhatagorth as The Tapestry as tasked him with this complex assignment. Secondly, survive this assignment so that he can see Jumhaeg again and continue wandering Umbrais with the gentle Disease Master.
Jumhaeg: Fully neutralize the Curse Sickness which Jhatagorth created and spread in Tremein. Gather any remaining evidence on the Advisor and see Wetryxstray after his part is done.
Wetryxstray has always celebrated the Renewal of Life and Memory festival that happens during the transition from Winter to Spring!
He's always enjoyed this holiday because it's audaciously loud, colorful, and a great time for an assassin to travel as you can easily get lost in the crowds of Entishay who are lost in festive activities.

I've been meaning to do this for ages. It's about time. My significant other is a part of the incredible #writingcommunity here but she's been too shy to follow anyone first. I would love it if all of my amazing friends on here could go and follow Teresa. She's wonderful, friendly, a fantastic writer, etc. She's everything I love. She's my other half. 💜
I have decided to get serious about writing again. My non-smut writing, that is. I’ve kind of stopped writing anything except smut but I miss it and need to feel creatively inspired again. While writing smut is fun, it doesn’t challenge me enough creatively.
I have let everything else crowd me in. New job, worries about the kids, even travel plans. But editing my romance novel and sending it off to publishers have made me realise that I really miss writing longer novels. Which is probably why I’m so stressed lately. Writing more complex novels relaxes me and keeps me sane. I need to get back to that.
I’m going to start by keeping a journal where I can just dump all my negative thoughts to get them out of the way. Not sure if it’s going to help, but doing nothing isn’t an option anymore at this point. #writing

A decade ago I published Without Bloodshed, which sold well enough to complicate my tax returns for a couple of years thanks to a modest following I had on Google+. A few years later I published Silent Clarion, which bombed. Probably my own damn fault.
I'm working on another novel called Spiral Architect in the same setting with the same cast, and most of my responses to #WritingWonders and #PennedPossiblities will be based on that #WIP.
