Had to dig this baby bunny out of a window well. I scared this one and it’s sibling when I started up the weed eater. I may have to pause the automower again now that the bunnies are out of their hole #rabbits#nature#backyardstories#spring
I feel like if the intrepid bunny and I are going to be friends, it’s got to have a name. I can’t just be like “what’s up, furball?” every time I see it. It just doesn’t seem proper.
So there are two baby bunnies that call my yard home. First is a fearless fur fren who doesn’t hop away when I walk by. Second little dude thinks he’s pretty sneaky. Third pic is the first sugar snaps of the season. 🥰
We get Desert Cottontails in our backyard all the time - we redid the backyard in California native plants. This little Desert Cottontail decided tha front yard had better munchies after I mowed it a day ago.
"I'm hiding from everyone. Why are you sticking that phone in my face?" Coco prefers hiding behind the couch. Anyone else have buns that prefer their privacy?
