Made my father watch both Spider-verse movies with me, he loved them, he's absolute furious about me "tricking" him into the cliffhanger. (I warned him twice.)
I watched #Loki on #DisneyPlus in two separate three episode binges Saturday and Monday nights and, for me, it's among the best work and storytelling #Marvel has done across all of the #MCU.
The last episode is a perfect culmination of the storyline begun in the first season, and though it leaves some things open, it also answers so much, so well.
It may not appeal to those who are best satisfied with flash, sound, and frenetic action, but for deep character development, it does a great job.
i forget, if you put a content warning on a post and it has an image, does it show the image even if the content warning isn't expanded?
i know my preferences aren't to really hide things but I want to make sure the #SpiderVerse bot isn't going to be CW'ing the innocuous non-spoiler text of the post while still showing the spoiler image attached to it.
I thought Spider-man: Across the #Spiderverse was a good 2nd volume of a trilogy. It wasn't fantastic as a stand-alone movie, but the characters and their predicaments were compelling. The action was bordering on seizure-inducing. The pace of dialogue is, at moments, difficult to keep up with without a rewind—and I'm a fan of fast talking. But overall I love this series.
