I'm watching #Babylon5 and we're near the end of season 1.
Definitely discount DS9 so far. They sure did include an episode where the creepy 50-something alien dude decided to introduce another character to strip clubs and gambling, and the way he cheats at poker is using some sort of prehensile sticky tentacle-like appendage to reach across under the table and steal cards from the dealer.
Later confirmed, yes. That sure was a sex organ.
I'm glad that kind of humor has mostly died.
@Artemis201 "discount DS9"? Well, in one sense you are correct. JMS didn't have #StarTrek money. Esp. after he pitched #Babylon5 to Trek producers (and he had spent years pitching B5 everywhere) and they said no and then they went and created a show based on a space station anyways, with almost the same general story arc, and even stole the name Dukat. So, no, #B5 didn't have Trek money. The irony is #StarTrekDS9 is the best Trek series of them all and it was completely plagiarized.
That single bar table scene where Sarina talks about Julian and O'Brien being best friends, and Odo showing his feelings by taking Kira's hand, has always impressed me for how touching, clever, and real it was. #AllStarTrek@allstartrek#StarTrek#StarTrekDS9#Chrysalis
Yeah, screw proper archeological excavation, just f-ing phaser your way into the chamber. That being said, the effect of the phaser cutting through the way was pretty sweet. #AllStarTrek#StarTrekDS9#DS9#Rapture@allstartrek
"At least we're trying out. What about you?" Rom "I don't have the slightest interest in this human game." Quark "You know why? Jake said it's a game that takes heart, and you sold yours a long time ago." Leeta- Take Me Out to the Holosuite, Stardate: Unknown #StarTrek#StarTrekDS9#IDIC#WeAreStarfleet#Quote
Hanging out with a friend, officially my first social Saturday in years (though we've hung out on weekdays before). Trifecta of great convo with a fellow introvert, great food and bookstore met.
Top-notch instant ramen and buffalo wings for dinner while watching DS9 s3, "The House of Quark" which had me laughing so loud.
The fact that it's a Saturday Night and I'm about to crawl into bed with a book.
I am currently re-watching Star Trek: Deep Space Nine all the way through, every season from the beginning. I am halfway through the 4th season right now. And one thing I was not prepared for was the amount of and intensity of the vaporwave energy coming off of this show. I mean wow lol
