Deleting #ClimateChange from #Florida policies by #DeSantis is a weird (some would say: fucking dumbass) move, esp when hurricanes are already treating your state like a little bitch

Just like a good neighbor, #StateFarm is...where?

Not Florida.

Even if can afford to buy a house, the fact that the big companies -- at least in -- aren't writing homeowner policies make such an investment really risky. I wish this article had mentioned these 2 things: 1) the fact that , , , and are "putting a pause on these policies" (words used by agent) because of 2) .

gets more absurd every day. Fossil fuel companies have long had a financial interest in downplaying climate change, but the companies who have to insure against climate catastrophes are under no illusions because the crisis is hitting them right in the wallet”

tonight smells like the future - burning tar, burning plastic, burning tar paper and shingles, burning rubber.

It catches in the throat and burns your eyes slightly. I was wearing a KN95 mask which seemed to filter most of it.

Before today I didn't know what 200 modern burning homes smelled like. Now I do. We all do here, everyone who's opened a window today.

Make no mistake. This is the future our overlords are steering us towards with ever increasing haste and desperation.

This.

@adwright has realized this financially due to with the news of them pulling out of California and Florida.
