Panelist Brendan chooses to accept the latest installment of cheating death, : Dead Reckoning Part 1. It’s maybe the most solid action franchise going, and Cruise and McQuarrie are a team that guarantees jaw-dropping set pieces mixed with tense thrills.

How has “Mission: Impossible” evolved into Hollywood’s best modern action franchise? Tom Cruise’s legendary commitment is one big reason. Here, The Hollywood Reporter ranks each of the seven films from worst to best.

Paramount needs to rename itself to "Tom Cruise". I swear, the day Tom Cruise passes away, Paramount will go bankrupt.

Non-spoiler reaction on - Part 1

It's fast-paced. Prepare for non-stop and prolonged action sequences. This movie doesn't feel rushed at all, and I love it. It wants you to savor every action and makes you feel as if you're part of it.

There are some familiar concepts and action scenes (might be a bit overused) but there are also unique ones.

Overall, it was well worth my 2 hrs and 45 minutes at the cinema. did it again. 👌

Tom Cruise says he doesn't get why there's so much traffic in Toronto. Even Hollywood has grown frustrated with the standstill traffic in Toronto.

"You know what, I have done that challenge & I've been in that traffic,"

Mission: Impossible 2 isn't a great movie. You'd even be hard pressed to call it a good movie. But in its own way--and despite the rampant misogyny-- it kind of friggin' rules.
