One of the areas of grass, which has not been cut once yet this year, has turned into a of Lesser or Common (Centaurea nigra) and . Both plants are among the top nectar producers, loved by insects and also birds.

#Breezy day, partly cloudy with a lot of sun. Nowhere near as #windy as forecast. I reckon gusting F6, #MetOffice thought thundery, gale force winds (F8). (So far, at least.)
