@tonymasiello @mrcompletely @Copperdomebodhi I got to see SRV at Deer Creek the same summer he died-he was great! You know, he (w/his band Double Trouble) opened for Clapton that night and Clapton could have easily been on the same helicopter-there were four helicopters taking everyone out of Alpine. Clapton’s agent died in the crash too. Clapton had to go identify their bodies at the morgue. Just awful.

When my sister sold her home, she had her white realtor come to show the appraiser around. She LEFT HER OWN HOME during the process. Right now, my college friend is removing all signs of Blackness from her home before she puts it on the market. All art, photos, statues are being packed. All books are being turned spine in. We just moved (within the same “purple” SLC area) and as much as I want to fill the yard and porch w/UT Dem candidates & Biden/Harris 2024 signs, a BLM sign, a pride flag and hang our mezuzahs in the doorways, I’m hesitant until I get a better feel for things. I’m encouraged by what I see and who we meet on our neighborhood walks w/pup, but don’t want invite hate and/or vandalism either-big bummer to feel that way.

Palm Royale on Apple: watch it! Incredible cast-too many greats to list. Kristen Wiig is lead, many other famous actors and several you will recognize, look up on IMDB and go, “Yes, that is____!” Example: Hurley’s mom from Lost. Campy, funny, great set design and costumes (very Mad Men era), feminist tropes that resonate loudly today, but entertaining w/o going that deep if you don’t want to.

@SarahSingsank Love it! So refreshing for tv & movies in terms of creativity! I will say, it caught our eye in part because that same era of Palm Beach’s socialite scene is depicted in Fued: Capote and The Swans-it’s a drama and I also recommend it!

I'm a hyperpolitical radical leftist fully engaged with electoral politics on every level down to the most local. I just don't talk about it here much. I'm going to keep not talking about it here, and I'm going to mute/filter a lot of political/election related terms. This is not a sign of disengagement. @maggiejk @KrissyKat They are definitely coming for IUDs-they can track who has an IUD because they require a prescription. Prescriptions are easily traced-I posted weeks ago about major pharmacies admitting to just handing over Rx records to cops w/o warrants. IUDs go thru Dr’s offices/hospitals/clinics-they’ll get that next, HIPPA be damned. IUDs are easily traced to prescribing doctor and then the patients. Roe->IUDs->Plan B->birth control pills->?!?!

A Biden presidency and a continued democracy after him is every woman’s best path back to having full and equal human rights again. And I will never vote for a rapist.

Just took a look at the Goose prices. Putting aside my normal rants about the music industry eating itself, this is just plain weird.

It’s their first real “big boy” Summer tour, and they are playing many venues way too large for them. You would think the goal is growth — price low and attract more fans. But instead they’ve gone straight to Phish/Dead&Co late-stage hamband prices to extract as much as possible each show.

Nothing makes sense.

    So far no one I personally know is in on the psy op talk. But I’m being diligent in trying to weed them out. I first heard about the grand Swift/Kelce conspiracy from @houseinhabit on Instagram. Led to an unfollow. I hear she’s still at it tho. This was literally the first week TS was spotted at a Chief’s game. So this psychosis isn’t exactly new. Just growing into a tv news topic. Of course that just kills thin-skinned Mango Mussolini and his MAGAt cult-he’s going to lose that much money in court tomorrow and probably be barred from doing biz in NY state. Here for it! 🍿🤣

(Frankly, I’m shocked the MAGAts aren’t calling her a dirty socialist for those bonuses but it happened pre-Travis and I doubt they read or cared about her before a man they knew of entered the picture.) Shirts I’ve seen are great! Hope she & Bobby do a big photo op at the game.
