Why you should use Firefox:

  1. Freedom from Chromium/Blink monopoly
  2. FOSS web browser
  3. Fast and customizable
  4. Great UI/UX
  5. VERY stable compared to a lot of Chrome clones
  6. Supports extensions that clean up the web and block ads very well
  7. If it feels too slow, try betterfox's fastfox user script
  8. idk I just find it cool
9: it has a fox mascot (I added this one because of popular demand and because I completely forgot about it)

  • AndreTelevise,

@GossiTheDog Nice! When do you think web clients like Elk are going to adopt it?

ahhhhhrhgghghr. I finally got around to digging into a Switch game for the first time, because someone wanted me to hack one, and the first thing I see is a filename:

Here's the real question about the new unity pricing:
This last week I've been injecting code at runtime into a running unity game. I'm technically never launching MY game, just some other game that I'm now controlling.

How much do I owe? Does unity owe me some money? Do I owe money to both unity and the game's developer?

    AndreTelevise,

@foone This whole system makes no sense and is just predatory. It makes Unity as expensive as AWS for no good reason.

Congratulations! Your timeline has been blessed by a goat.

This is Hershey. He says you look really great today and not to change a thing.

You should believe him because goats do not lie.

    AndreTelevise,

@fraying Why is this so funny?? WHY IS THIS SO FUNNY, IT'S JUST A GOAT, BUT I'M LAUGHING

Ever wanted your desktop windows to jiggle around on-beat? I wrote a Winamp plugin to solve this important problem.

Microsoft changes default font in Word and other apps for the first time since 2007

Aptos is a sans-serif font that also comes in monospaced and serifed varieties.

@arstechnica People using slightly older versions of Office that can't update trying to open a document created in 2023: "This doesn't look consistent at all"

  • AndreTelevise,

@GossiTheDog You can pre-order in in the App Store, but Android just says "Coming soon". Is this another one of those cases of "Apple first, Android later"?
