Rose Breasteds are in Central &South America enjoying food and warmth and will return here to Eastern Canada to mate & raise their families, & the singing will begin again. Fireweed & Daisies for DHB of Ontario. Luckily decided to do an extra painting yesterday as I had a major mishap. I fell and landed on my painting hand- looks like it’s been in a boxing match. After a trip to ER & X-rays they said it’s not broken but the doc thought it will be weeks healing. I have no idea if I can even hold my paintbrush but am determined to keep going if I can. expecting 80 cms of snow before Monday! #art #MastoArt #watercolour #penandink #fireweed #daisies

My crows were here at the window a few minutes ago. They are patient and wait for me to come with some peanuts or fruit bits. I once taught a crow to say hello and now another generation of crows say Harrr -oh when I call.
