Gracefully maneuvering through the garden bed. Much harder to catch him amongst all the salvia stalks but it’s a lot of fun trying. I love looking through hummingbird photos because you never know what you captured. Or didn’t! 😆 #nature#wildlife#birds#birdwatching#birdphotography#hummingbird
I’m literally obsessed with the way the pine tree holds light. The pine needles, the leaking sap, the spiderwebs - they all contribute to a magical ever changing light that is so much fun to try to capture. My family wonders how I can be out there taking pix of the same bird in the same tree. Obviously it’s NEVER the same but they don’t get it 😆 #nature#wildlife#birdwatching#birds#birdphotography#hummingbird
Today is dark and cloudy with a storm coming in, it feels like a good day to pause and share some photos. I compulsively take photos but never show them to anyone so today I’m going to share them with you 🤗 This was yesterday but I think I will back up in time a little bit. #birdphoto#nature#wildlife#photography#birds#hummingbird
Can you find the #hummingbird nest? Hint: it’s on a very low branch, so the students can see it and two tiny beaks sticking out ❤️ #birds#gardening#teaching
At our friends' house for game night, and I’m struggling a bit with chronic illness stuff (haven’t talked about this but I’m sure it’ll be unsurprising to find out that in this time of empty nest stress I’m also having a bad ME/CFS flare). Anyway while they play games I’m in the hammock. There’s a #hummingbird dancing all over the place and it finally stopped moving long enough to get this photo.
Another day, another YouTube Short. In this one I receive Spellbinders Better Press Plates of the Month for February. Then I create two quick cards with them. They're very shiny! ✨
Anna’s Hummingbirds stay in Seattle all winter long. Growing up in Finland hummingbirds were this elusive tropical thing that you only see in magazines. Its so fun to be able to see them all the time now! This was taken at Union Bay, near UW in Seattle.
