@tvaziri I've been using Macs since 2007, and in all that time I've never been able to train myself to ๏ฃฟ-tab between apps. I've tried to, but ultimately I've always fallen back to swiping, window stacking, or Spotlight.

@Signs So far as I can work out, what seems to be 'hard' for new users is coming from Twitter's noisy algorithm-driven feed, to the relatively quiet Mastodon, where they also don't have 1000 followers replying to them.

There's a certain type of account on Mastodon/TheFediverse who totally loves Mastodon/TheFediverse and has many interesting things to say.

They also toot two thousand times a day and I just cannot have that in my Home feed.

This morning I'm mostly grumpy about my .

Firstly, I didn't get around to taking my pill until an hour after I got up, because I straight up forgot, despite remembering as I was pouring my coffee.

Then I just realised that I missed a Dr appointment yesterday, because it was made two fucking weeks ago, and despite being in the fucking calendar I can't be trusted to fucking remember anything.

I'm particularly angry about that, because it was to review (and hopefully increase) my meds...

And I really want to practice the mindfulness I've been taught, to consider that this is a spiral, and that ultimately no harm has been done, I'll just be increasing (hopefully) my dosage a couple of weeks later.

But I'm frustrated that there's so much stuff I have to remember that I just can't. Other people manage to juggle all the needs on them, but I feel like I always fail, or at the very least that I can't be trusted to be consistent.

Actually, I'm angry about that because it could have been a sodding phone appointment, but every drs surgery is run by old guys who are massively averse to anything beyond sitting in front of their patients so they can chastise them for being fat.

Just popped in to the dr to apologise and make another appointment. The diary renews on Monday, so I have to wait until to make an appointment in a fortnight that I might forget again.

About three months ago I replaced the long, thick coil cable on The Good Headphones with a 3.5mm socket so I could use a lighter cable, or bluetooth receiver.

Today I've realised that I soldered the wires the wrong way around, so left is going right and right is going left.

Oops.

Is it possible to get a home hub device that can run Alexa smart home routines that isn't an Amazon speaker? Literally just a box that can be used to control lights and such automatically.
