Scientifically the word parasite is probably not correct for using the milk, but I suppose it was more rhetorical anyway.

Concerning the size, I know parasites usually as small or at least from outside undetected, even some worms inside horses can probably grow to a size of several meters.
The largest parasite which approaches it's victims from outside I know are bats, but as far as I know the vampire bats are not so very large.

Concerning controversy: regrettable not enough.

Is it possible to somehow train your body to be more warm? I'm one of those "always so cold" people. As I light up my zippo hand warmers to survive the chill I wonder ... why can't I just be warmer?

Most easy approach is to start with sauna and the according cold showers.
That's quite fun and training or changing the temperature sensitivity a lot.
The other answers here you can use then to go more hardcore 😂
