This is horrifying! Three 10-year-old girls in Tennessee married men aged 24, 25 and 31 in 2001. An 11-year-old who married a 27-year-old woman in the same state in 2006. Children as young as 12 were granted marriage licences in Alaska, Louisiana and South Carolina, while 11 other states allowed 13-year-olds to wed. More than 1,000 children aged 14 or under were granted marriage licences.

Somebody asked "What is the most Generation X thing you've ever done?" and I instantly remembered the time I was at work and selected 200+ songs to download on Napster and then went home, leaving Napster up to download. I apparently hung up the internet at my college that night LOL The next day I received a “cease and desist” email that basically said “We can’t think of a legitimate academic reason why you’d be doing this, but if there is one, be sure to let us know.” 😂😂

I don’t get the Taylor Swift hate because she sings about relationships and breakups. Go listen to the radio, any genre, any generation. 99% of the lyrics are about relationships and breakups—even by male artists. WTF. Just fyi, in Illinois, many of the teachers teaching dual credit courses for college courses are not remotely qualified to do so, their syllabi and content do match what the state says they’re supposed to have, and even though department chairs like myself are supposed to have approval rights to make sure the classes aren’t a joke, we can deny all we want and get overrruled anyway. So the students may be getting college credits, but they’re not getting college content. And nobody seems to care.
