It's not as good as ChatGPT but as a demonstrator that a model can run on a laptop, for experiments etc i like GPT4ALL. It's easy to install. Also it's opensource both model and data. It doesn't need internet so you can experiment, combine it with your own code etcetera

"The first family in his village to succumb to starvation was a mother and her children. She had become too sick to work.
