Married 37yrs, father of dogs in Wellington New Zealand, but from Toronto by cesarean (sorry mom). , (only the best espresso from a hand pulled La Pavoni Stratavarious) (stuck on Lamy), . Creating art with a AI and a hand build robot using Lamy fountain pens. I loved OR when we traveled there.

Honestly I'm just throwing everything at this site to see what engagement looks like here vs Blue Sky. I got new shelving put into my home office. Will take any and all advice on what I should put on top of it, if anything. If plants it would have to be able to survive low light, I'm in Oregon. Excuse the mess, I live here.

@Kenno yes! That tea table was in desperate shape. My young daughter and I stripped it and refinished it, no doubt removing any historical value but I wasn't really bothered about that. It's like 100 years old and I got it for 20 bucks. It's actually awaiting two small chairs. I usually prop my espresso on the windowsill!

There's a reason I only showed that side of the room 😆 my desk occupies the opposite side and it is a disaster but that's okay by me.

@neilhimself god it's all so incredibly tender (both good and bad) to read and watch. We are truly in a special place with TV right now that we get access to this and some of the other truly beautiful stories which artists are rendering. I swear every week—I'm a psychotherapist—one of my clients references something to illustrate the pain in their own lives. Happened to me today with Sex Education (client referenced Maeve's mum's funeral), it's happened with Good Omens, WandaVision and others.

@neilhimself thinking about introducing my child¹ to Neverwhere² but I'm not sure she'll get the references (she's spent like 2 days total in London). Thoughts? Maybe I wait? I will take any advice

¹ almost 10 years old only, but precocious....a big fan of Jane Austen for example.
² my favorite of yours.

@neilhimself well it was a moot point. A day or so after I asked this I went into her room to find her reading it! I was v confused because I hadn't mentioned it to her, but we recently finished watching GO2 and I think she must have known that was you too, wandered past the Folio Society edition of Neverwhere on the bookshelf and your name caught her eye.

She is enjoying it greatly and loves Door! I might try Stardust next.

(It's also a lesson in the value of growing up with a home library.)

I like (longtime fan of the champs ! ), , , , , (my family is from/in the Northern Governate), and i believe in medical science.
