A year ago, I was denied thousands of dollars in #health coverage for...being late.

I had a big bill from an out-of-network psychotherapist. I had thought my #insurance plan with UnitedHealthcare would cover a lot of it.

But United denied my claim. Why? I took more than six months to submit my claim.

Mind you, I was battling #depression and undiagnosed #ADHD at the time.

Today, with @ProPublica's help, I'm asking to see what went on behind the scenes.

#Walmart is closing four of its stores in #Chicago, worsening access to food and medicine in Black neighborhoods that already suffer from a lack of essential #retail.

As it happens whenever a big retailer pulls out of a poor area, some people blame the decision on #crime.

So here's a reminder that Walmart has an established pattern of creating crime in communities where it operates, per this @bloombergbusiness story from 2016.
