So, I have a thing for ice, especially in the Summer. My neighbor is exactly the same way. He makes powdery ice slushies with his blender and carbonated water. Not sure how he does it, but it's incredible. The texture is like eating snow. Not sure why that's so satisfying, but it is. He just texted that he made some freshly powdered ice popsicles for us

A friend caught a tuna while this morning & shared 4lbs with us. Husband is currently in the kitchen muttering sweet nothings to it, slicing it into smaller pieces- some to eat tonight, some to freeze- I'm outside soaking up the heat and listening to my (rather 🔥🔥 naughty 🔥🔥) . Happy Friday! 😉🎆

So many of my clients are on vaca this week or next week, so it's a weird end to the month with the upcoming holiday. Just two sessions today, but ten tomorrow. None on Wednesday and nine on Thursday.

Off for a run. It's a gorgeous morning. Hopefully, my murder of crows won't follow me....

Someone asked about my amazing heated gloves at the Nebulas. They are expensive but will last for ages. I highly recommend them to anyone with Reynaud's or any kind of nerve/circulation problems in the hands. Life-changers. I can use my phone with them on and they have three different heat settings.

@mishellbaker I second these gloves!! They're WONDERFUL. The material isn't annoying, they're thin & you can still use your touchscreen with them on. The back of mine are warmer than the front (done on purpose to avoid sweaty palms) so sometimes if I'm really hurting I wear them on the opposite hands & still comfortable. I have petite hands & the xsmall wasn't available when I ordered. I'd probably fit better in xsmall.

Today at the food bank I sized & organized summer shorts! Winter can bite my ass.

Today at the food bank I put out a bunch of summer shoes. We were given a donation of 20 pairs of flip flops in various sizes last fall so it felt so good to clean everything out & get it all sized & organized.

Today at the food bank I spent 2 hours going through bag after bag of donations. Most were winter clothes, unfortunately. We're in desperate need for shorts and summer shoes. (But hey, clients will be warmly dressed this winter.)

Today at the food bank it's hot and clients are cranky. Doing my best to put an empathetic smile on my face and putting out positive energy and thoughts to them.
