There is this bug in Mastodon.. not sure where and what exactly but it kinda blows up the database and all comes crashing down for a few seconds. Almost once a day these days and there's a fix in the work but I just recently learned this was into Mastodon itself and not our server configs etc
This really drove me crazy for so long cause I just couldn't find a solution but there was no way I could lol :blobcatgiggle:
For now I try to keep on stand by for a quick reload if it takes too long
As much as I've let off steam towards @stux re: his stance towards #Meta, I do have to also acknowledge that mstdn.social does run extremely performant in spite of it's size and that he has some caring admins that do take stuff seriously.
Yep. Looking at the audit log I'v been doing most of the moderation these past few weeks and our resolved reports have a positive +5% (as of right now. I checked the admin panel earlier)

📷 I was accused of bad behavior here today. Instead of reacting immediately, I took a few minutes to think about it under the shade tree in the back yard and clearing skies.
Addendum: The issue was resolved to the satisfaction of all.
