I really loathe when people say blanket statements like "Learning from X is not effective"

People learn differently. Saying "Learning from books is not effective" may be true for you, but not for someone else

I don't learn well from video content

I learn great from exercises and small tests and yes, books

You should learn what your individual team members styles are and enable them to have resources that work for them

Sometimes people I like to follow post content I just don't want to see

So I update my filters by going to Preferences -> Filters where I made a Filter called "Bad Words"

There I put all the words I don't want to see on my timeline

Then I don't see the Bad Words, they don't ruin my mental health, and the people I follow stay the same

There are almost always 5 interviews for a tech job:

1. Recruiter Screen
2. Manager meet & greet
3. Technical #1 (take-home or in-person algorithms test)
4. Technical #2 (either review the take home or do an in-person systems design test)
5. Culture/Team Fit interview

Getting through all of it takes 3-4 weeks

I was going to make some smart joke about how hellish it is... but I'm pretty sure it's self-explanatory that ever step involves crying
