is expected to be in attendance Monday in when Judge Aileen presides over a hearing in his classified case in which attorneys will address issues surrounding the classified materials in question.

The hearings will be under seal & held in a SCIF -- a specially-equipped secure room for viewing highly classified materials -- located in Fort Pierce, Florida”

Muddobbers,

@GottaLaff

I'm sure other people may have touched on this, but this feels like judge intimidation for him to voluntarily be there. He shouldn't be allowed anywhere near a SCIF and any classified info, but he could be there with the intent of "I put you there, you make this end well for me; you owe me"

FediFriends, I need your help 👇

I’ve built this little webpage
a few months ago to present together some of the work I did and help me find a job: https://emontheinternet.me

But, I am still uncertain about which drawing profile would be best for this, if any 🤔

I have not built this webpage for myself so I need external opinions. Your opinions (boosts welcome for reach) :boost_ok:

Which one of these
profile pictures do you think would work best on my webpage to find work? Or perhaps it would be best not to put any? What do you think?

Keep in mind that ✱
I am not targeting large corporations with that. I am aware my website doesn’t fit the “LinkedIn” style. But which picture do you think my favorite public-interest and/or privacy organizations would like the best? 💚👇❔

(read alt-text to see each picture' number)

EDIT: I added a poll below for people who prefer to vote without commenting. I could not include both a poll and pictures in the same post 📥👇

A few times I have told the anecdote that the singly most baffling thing I ever saw in a code review — not the most insecure, just the most “how could a real programmer have written this? how could this ever make sense?” thing — was simply a C++ variable “number_of_trucks” … declared as float. Unambiguously referring to real physical trucks in a fleet.

Reader, it’s been over ten years and I am blowing the gods damn whistle. I had edited that story to protect the guilty: the variable was named number_of_planes. It was shipped by a company whose name begins with “B” and rhymes with “GOING out of business.”

Muddobbers,

@0xabad1dea

I'm sure this joke has been touched on in the massive number of replies you've gotten so far but:

I can see it as a float, in that number of planes that are currently in service can be non-whole because when the door flies off of one, it's now 0.9 of a plane, so you have, say, 13.9 planes on the tarmac now!

Donald fired off a late night post in which he said he is "interviewing various law firms" to represent him in his appeal of the verdict, leaving many to wonder if Alina 's time on the case is over.

I figure that of course he's done with her, she lost the case for him so she's proven she's not useful to him.

    I continue to be squeezed by both sides of the threads situation. I am operating on the premise that people who think I’m a terrible person and this is a terrible instance for allowing any interaction with threads have left and/or blocked, those remaining seem to want to either have nothing to do with threads at all and are mainly concerned with their data, and those who want to seamlessly interact with threads. I have threads limited/silenced on Infosec.exchange, but that isn’t seamless, and it’s also not fully blocking. So, here’s my proposal:
    I remove the limit from threads, and run a job to domain block threads for each account. Any account who chooses can undo the block (or ask me to do it) and then they can seamlessly interact with threads, and those who want nothing to do with them get their way.

    Thoughts?

    Muddobbers,

    @jerry

    An immediate thought that I would have (not sure how to implement it into the code here if it even is possible) is to offer a notification with a statement of "If you want to block threads, click this button, otherwise close this notification"

    Obvious questions: Will Musk permit Alex Jones' posts to be monetized? No doubt major advertisers will be lining up to appear next to his posts. Uh huh. In any case, will Musk assure that any monies paid related to Jones by /X go directly to the Sandy Hook families to whom Jones owes a fortune from court rulings?

    Muddobbers,

    @mattblaze @lauren

    They seem to want to be there, if history shows. they'll just "pause advertising" until the collective memory fades away, then it's right back to that money.
