Yesterday afternoon I presented the @ietf's upcoming HTTPSig protocol to the @w3c Solid Community Group.
I illustrated it by running my crawler on published as Linked Data Event Streams () protected with access control rules. (financed with the help of @NGIZero).
Note an early version of the IETF HttpSig protocol is used by )

This is about as efficient as one can get, though Tim Berners-Lee did think of an extra optimisation, which I mention in the video recording below.

(I am still waiting for the Google video upload to finish... Perhaps it is too long. The Twitter video works well though.)

The confusion is understandable, NLnet & NLnet Labs used to be related hence the similar name (and we're still friends!). NLnet, in turn, is part of the NGI Zero consortium that funds open source projects like yours.
And thank you for making the effort to redo the presentation and share it!

Vdirsyncer synchronises address books and calendars between webcal, caldav, and local vdir collections. The project is now introducing davcli: a simple command line tool to interact with caldav servers manually or via simple scripts. It is also useful for hosting providers that want to validate that discovery is set up correctly.

The developer is asking for feedback on running the tool. For more information and ways to contact: https://whynothugo.nl/journal/2023/05/01/introducing-davcli/

If you run "guix pull" today, you get a package graph of more than 22,000 nodes rooted in a 357-byte program---something that had never been achieved, to our knowledge, since the birth of Unix: a Full-Source Bootstrap.

Edit: Add blog post link inline https://guix.gnu.org/en/blog/2023/the-full-source-bootstrap-building-from-source-all-the-way-down/

@liaizon @EC_NGI Sadly, it didn't take off at the time, as "feedback from the artists wasn't strong enough" back then. So the small startup behind Creative Passport did not want to take ArtistHub any further. However, this was before the whole Twitter-Musk thing - so perhaps the situation would be different now. I still think the idea has a lot of potential: artists in full control of their (social) media and in direct contact with their own fans - without gatekeepers or platform taxes!

Chip inspection often requires removing or even destroying the chip. @bunnie has developed a method to inspect chips without having to unmount them using infrared light. Bunnie describes how you can do it yourself with lightly modified and affordable tools. https://www.bunniestudios.com/blog/?p=6712

Bunnie writes: “Ultimately, the hope is to create a verification solution that grows in parallel with the open source chip design ecosystem, so that one day we can have chips we can trust.”
