Today's random photo is Wild Garlic. This grows in abundance around here and my garden is full of it just now. The flowers smell of garlic too, and you can eat all of the plant. Yum.

@NormanDunbar Just as an after thought, the leaves are very much like a garlic spinach and wilt in the same way. The flowers are very strong but good to eat. The bulbs, from wild plants, are protected, please don't dig them up.

@NormanDunbar In your own garden, I think it's a different matter and digging up to re wild would surely be a good thing. Love calling it Belgium. There's a wonderful smell in Bruges that is everywhere in the morning, I can only guess that it's some sort of stock or soup being made for later that day. If anyone from there reads this and knows what it is, please tell me I would love to know.

@NormanDunbar The thing is, there's always more than one way of interpreting anything written. It's why solicitors rarely punctuate. Maybe I should take that approach and when anyone says anything I just reply with well that's purely your interpretation of what I said and not what was meant. Damn that was hard not to punctuate.

Okay, let me get this straight. Some people who have no connection to mastodon accounts or, are claiming to be on the board of directors of a platform run by loads of individuals for nothing more than the challenge of doing it in most cases.

Isn't this the same as me claiming to be on the board if directors of the universe?

Sorry but you can't be a director of something that isn't owned, just by forming a company. Mastodon will simply step to one side and leave you scratching your head.

Good grief, this weather is endless and really getting me down. Last night the rain was so heavy I had to pull over for almost an hour as visibility was reduced so badly. Today it's precipitating persistently AGAIN! Absolutely baltic too, it's almost May and I'm wondering if I should put the heating on - I won't of course, can't afford that, I have a thick Oodie and lots of layers.

@NormanDunbar Morning Norman. No need to apologise, I do enjoy the windups and banter.

I know the whole evening dog emptying routine only too well. I have a pair of wellies with waterproof trousers by the door ready to get straight into - sort of fire fighter style.

My springer just wants to follow me rain (mostly) or shine. Other dogs seem to have more between the ears.

@Geri The video captioned 'Watch: Gaza protesters clash with police at Emory University' explains exactly how the BBC and other news channels are seeing this. The students are clashing with police. Let's get this right, unarmed students peacefully protesting are clashing with armed police in riot gear with snipers on University rooftops.

That all seems totally legitimate.

And the nasty party in the UK want to be able to do the same here.

This is a meme which I did not create, it's for amusement.

That would depend on what is being done with the grass cuttings, they have been cleared away so possibly composting.

Untill people stop using the road network, keeping a motorway central reservation from becoming overgrown is an essential thing to do and much less detrimental than ripping up the grass and covering with concrete or letting vegetation cover signage.

@NormanDunbar Wet floors do go hand in hand with having a dog in the house. My springer, when towel dried, runs round like a mad thing to attempt to spread the dampness.
